Fly fishing is more than just a hobby for some, it’s a lifestyle. Our cars are crammed with rods, reels, and fly boxes: more like mobile fly shops than vehicles. I mean, you never know when you’ll need (not want) to pull over and investigate what fish may be lurking within eyesight of the road.
It’s the Drive to Work Hard & Explore.
Always striving to tie the best fly, find the most remote access points, and land freak fish; we push both ourselves and our gear to the limit. The grind never stops. Our addiction has led us to some amazing places and provided a ton of lifetime memories that are etched in our minds. You never know what will be around the next bend!
It’s a Tight-Knit Community.
A whole-hearted fascination with fooling fish on the fly has created a community and brotherhood that is as strong as a river’s current after a dam simultaneously turns on all generators. Putting in the work is what it’s all about. Every now and then, it turns into a timeless story.
It’s a Healthy Habit.
Fly fishing is a form of meditation. Some folks need to sit in a cross-legged pose and ‘ohm’ themselves into a meditative state. For the Effishent crew, getting out in nature and exploring epic places is enough to clear the mind and be fully present. We feel invigorated and motivated after a fly fishing trip; it’s truly good for the soul & keeps us out of trouble!
